Need more time to finish a project

Hello,
My client wants me to finish a project within 10 hours. I'm paid hourly. I already did some work without turning on the time tracker because I wanna make it within the timeline. However, I still need more time to get it done. I'm new to this and not sure about what should I do. Can anyone please suggest some solutions? Thanks.

Your choices are to either 1) discuss it with the client and see if they will agree to raise the time limit or 2) work the extra time without billing it. That's a choice only you can make, but if you agreed to work it in 10 hours, then I'd lean toward #2 unless there's some extenuating circumstance.
