PAYMENT METHOD NOT VERIFIED

Hi guys!!

I´m new to upwork.

I´m looking at jobs and some say payment method not verified. That could be a problem in the future at the time of payment if I take those jobs?

Maybe, maybe not. Verified or unverified payment does not mean that they are or are not legitimate or a scammer. Much better indicators are whether they show they have already spent money here and have good reviews.

Hi Victoria,

If you start a contract with a client whose payment method is yet to be verified, you can send them a gentle reminder to verify their payment method. Make sure not to start any work until you see that the payment method has been verified.
