Hello Upwork community.
I have some questions for keeping Upwork Policy.
Sometime, some clients require my Skype id on their job posting or on the interview.
How do I do?
When they required my Skype id, I said him "I can give you my ID, but Upwork policy does not allow this. So you have to work on Upwork. And you must pay me through Upwork."
Am I right?
How do I do?
I am new freelancer on Upwork, so I wanna know about this.
Thanks for your time.
Amanda Silva.

Upwork does not allow freelancers to share their Skype ID with prospective clients until an official Upwork contract is in place.
You could be suspended or otherwise penalized if you provide your Skype ID to a client before getting hired.
If a client asks for your Skype ID (Skype handle), you can tell him:
"Yes, I can provide you with my Skype ID, and we can talk via Skype, as soon as an Upwork contract is in place. If you click the green Hire button, I'll accept the contract and send you my Skype ID right now. Before then, we can communicate through Upwork, which lets us communicate via chat, or audio or video calls, or even through the built-in Zoom tool."

Actually, any form of communication outside of Upwork is not allowed if a contract is not in place yet.
