I hired an Upwork freelancer who sent an offer to my email yesterday. Today, I checked his profile, and I got "This profile is no longer available". I am concerned I have been scammed.

When a freelancer's profile is unavailable, it's because there's an issue with their account that they need to resolve. I'm afraid we can't share the details of another user's account for privacy reasons. Sorry for any inconvenience this can cause you.

I hope you are doing great. As Luggi mentioned it's because there is an issue with their account. I don't think you got scammed? If the amount is in escrow, you can claim it because the freelancer didn't deliver the results. However, if you did the payment through any other sources which by the way violates Upwork TOS, you will not be able to recover the amount In that case.
