Ways to get job

Hello Everyone

I am new to upwork and I was hoping if any one could share  tactics on how to get a job on upwork.

I have submited almost 10 proposals and yet nothing, I know I'm new, I just want to how it works 

and is it until I upgrate to the plus plan that i can get a job?

Hey Chinenye, congrats on joining Upwork! Please add a graphic for your Portofolio and use all 15 Skills so you can be better found. Next, create a flexible cover letter that is 100 words or less. The first Job is the most difficult to obtain because there are no Reviews. It can take 10 to 30 appropriate submissions to land the first Job. Stay encouraged. Have a great day!
