does upwork desktop app work in windows s mode?

I know there is no upwork desktop app for chromebook, but what about Windows S mode? Appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

Yes, Upwork's time tracker does not support Chromebooks.
It's only available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. And so, to work on an hourly job on Chromebook, you'll need the client's approval to record time manually but keep in mind that Upwork doesn't guarantee payment for manually recorded time as it does not qualify for Hourly Payment Protection.

Hi Kelly,

While the Desktop App supports Windows 7 or higher, it appears that Windows 10 on S only allows apps from the Microsoft Store. The Upwork Desktop App is not listed in the store, and it may not work if that’s the case.
