Cannot send/receive messages to freelancer

Hi,

 

I have hired a freelancer for a project, but I am unable to send/receive documents from him due to this message: "Upwork has detected a potential risk with the content of this message." 

 

This is slowing down our project's progress. How do I resolve this issue and send him a direct message?
