i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Hi Morrison,
Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

This is a bit frustrating. Our question is pretty straightforward. "Why hasn't Upwork processed our payment yet?." We're not asking about payment being reflected in our bank account. Hopefully we get answers soon!

It's poor on so many accounts.
1) They are avoiding the question
2) It's never happened to me before (9 years on Upwork and it used to be amazing in all respects)
3) It's our livelihoods and at the moment, the economy is dire. I need my money but they don't prioritise our needs.
4) We wait so long to get paid as it is.
If you get response please can you let me know and I will do the same but I suspect we won't. I will continue emailing and as soon as their phone lines open, I will try that route. Incidentally, years ago there was constant support via phone and Chat.

I totally agree on everything that you said! It's a fairly simple question and we probably aren't the only ones asking, so they should defintely have an answer by now.

I withdrew from my account on June 24 and I received a confirmation email but I did not receive the email that confirms that it is being processed. I have not received my funds since then and it is very urgent because I have lots of things at stake.
The withdrawal was via direct to ACH. Please confirm and work on this, thank you.

I withdrew to my local bank on the 19th and today is 26th and I still haven't recieved my funds from Upwork. I don't understand the delay, because it usually takes between 1-2 days to arrive. I've confirmed from my bank, and the funds haven't arrived.

Hi, I hope you are fine. Yesterday I made a transaction to my local bank account and till now I didn't receive the payment to my local bank account. This is the first time I direct transfer from upwork to local bank. In past when i transfer from upwork to payoneer it will take few minutes of transactions made from Upwork.
I call to my bank as well and ask them about that and they said, they don't receive any payment against this reference ID yet.
Can you help me to trace my payment or what is the issue actually?

sometimes it take 2-3 days time for local bank so don't worry about it,depands upon your bank,Funds may be available instantly or require additional days

Payment have received but difference in upwork exchange rate and local exchange rate. upwork was showing 1$ is 276PKR actually received 1$ to 272PKR.

Exchange rates are actually determined by the bank. Upwork does not have control over the exchange rate the bank uses when they process a withdrawal.
The rate randomly changes, so we cannot predict the rate until it was already done or processed. Our notification and the email notification that says ”withdrawal has been processed” may not be the same since as previously mentioned, we cannot predict the rate until the transaction has been done/processed.
Most likely, there's also some variation in the stability of USD against your local currency that causes a decrement in the conversion rate such as inflation and other factors into their exchange rates. Just to share, for other countries too, the currency conversion rates vary depending on the processing bank and timing. You may contact your bank to inquire about how the currency is being converted.
The exchange rates are bank-dependent; i.e. they may vary even when you check last time in the morning, evening, etc. So that is really incomparable for us though however if you are comparing the rate to what you see on the web, as in Bloomberg or Google or XE., this represents the wholesale interbank rate, which is typically higher than what most banks can convert at.
I hope this clarifies your concern.

Previously my problem was invalid beneficiary name. But it solved, I have submitted a document showing my name and the company name(Odama Studio) as proof that I am a legal owner or part of the company Odama Studio, it was a billing statement of my electricity bill. Can you help me again why the money bounced back to Upwork? And I have to get the Fee again because it bounced back to my Upwork. Please help me to finish this, thanks

I have withdraw my payment from Upwork but I have not received it til today. I have withdrawn it on June 30, 2023. Usually it gets reflected on the same day, however this one has not reflected until today.

I have withdrawn my earnings via Upwork. Usually it has been reflected on my bank account after 1 day. But for the last processed payment, it did not. I'm still waiting for it to be reflected on my bank account, even if I've withdrawn it successfuly on Upwork side.
