Hi. I recently joined upwork and changed my profile name, having mistakenly used my nickname to apply at the start. I set up a payment account but it's displaying my old name under financial account. How can this be solved?

If you need to change your name you can go to Settings › Contact Info to edit your name. You can find more information here.

Hello Nikola,
I followed the instructions on how to change names and was sucessful with it. But when I get notified on Upwork or G-mail telling me that my payment process request was sent etc. it still presents it with my old name that I used on Upwork (my pen name). I realized that my legal name had to be used on Upwork so I changed it. But it has been a while since I made that change but my financial account name is still shown as my old pen name.

Hi,
Our Team shows with the name of an employee who has left our company. He's the one who originally set up our Upwork account. We need to change that. His name also shows up as owner on the page for Member & Permissions.
We've changed the billing three-four days ago, but the old employee's name still appears at those places.
How can we change it?

At first on Upwork I was using a nickname until I realized we had to use our real name. I made the change and changed my financial account name to my real one. I made this change a while ago but it still displays as my old nickname when I get notified via G-mail or Upwork notifications. I believe due to this reason my payment process was denied. Since my old nickname doesn't match with my bank account name.
