Help regarding Client not responding & not activating the milestone

Hello community,
I need help regarding my project.

 

I have one client and as per our discussion, the project timeline was 01 Aug to 07 Aug. in which 5 milestones were created by the client. and all 5 milestones were completed from my side as per the timelines.
Milestone 1 - 02 Aug
milestone 2&3 - 04 aug
Milestone 4 - 07 Aug
Milestone 5 - 18 Aug

 

According to this timeline, I have completed my work. and he has submitted the payment for the first 3 milestones.
and now for the 4th milestone, he is not activating that as the amount is high.

The client has not responded for the last 10 days.

 

Need guidance to solve the issue.

Hi Jihan,

 

I am sorry to hear about your experience. We value your work and we want to make sure you get paid for it. However, you need to follow the guidelines for Fixed Price contracts on Upwork. You should only start working on a project when there is an active milestone set up by the client. Otherwise, you will not be covered by Upwork Payment Protection

 

Please do not share any work with the client until they create the milestones as agreed. You have done well by sending reminders to the client, but you may want to send another message, politely explaining the situation and requesting an update.
