Identity (ID) Verification

there is no menu item for verification by ID when I follow the link there is no such page either ... what is the problem please help me to pass verification. thanks

Hi Roman,

 

If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.

 

You may be asked to complete a visual verification and provide a valid government-issued ID. Acceptable documents include passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.

 

Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.



If you don't see a way to verify, that may be because you're not eligible yet. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to all talent. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account.

Hi Upwork,

 

I'm facing an issue with the id Verification. I have submitted my ID Card and face Selfi but I'm still waiting for the verification BAdge. I'm applying for jobs but hire rate is not much good on Upwork.

There is no Identity verification Option on my setting page. 
How could I get a verified badge?

I checked and it doesn't look like you are required to complete any verification at the moment. The team will let you know if there is a need for any verification in the future.

i am having issues to verifiy my Id though my account is 100 % complete . please be kind enough to arrange me an agent to verify my Identity. I used to get jobs through telegram which are fake please support me .

I searched that how can I get ID Verificatiobn badge and everywhere it says that you have to wait and you will be notified when it's time but now it's more than a month since I made an account on Upwork and completed my profile but still I didn't get any notification or email for my ID Verification.

As far as I know, it comes with your first job if you're talking about a certified account blue tick

I also face the same problem. But when I get my first project then ID was verified. Somtimes it may take 2-3 business days to verify

Upwork has been reviewing my ID for more then 10 days but still they haven't verified my ID, why are they taking so much time?

last week, my upwork account was on hold.

And upwork asked me to verify my identity within next 5 days.

I tried to complete ID verification process, but the link was invalid.

I attached a screenshot.

 

I asked the new verification link to customer support, but I didn't get any response yet.

What should I do now?

You are right, many people have such issues. Try uploading your passport or any form of national ID verification cars. I am sure you will make it. All the very best to you.
