Issue with Upwork Escrow In Refund

Hello everyone,

So, I recently encountered this issue with a refund from Upwork Escrow In. I received an email from Wise stating that they couldn't add the money sent by Upwork Escrow In to my account due to using my old USD account details. So, the money was automatically refunded to the sender's account.

They also said the refund may take between 3-10 working days. Now, I sent the money on Oct 19, and Wise confirmed to me that money could not be added on Oct 20. So how long should I wait?

Could someone please advise on the next steps or share any similar experiences?

I would like to clarify that if there are any issues with bank account information the funds should be returned to your Upwork account. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.
