Message from Upwork regarding the dispute, can someone explain to me the purpose of it.

I filed a dispute 3 days ago after I finished a project and the client asked for a full refund after he got the final file.
- Today I received this message from Upwork. What will happen if I refund the amount to the customer as requested by Upwork Support?
Wouldn't this have more impact on my profile?
Or does it mean that I lost this dispute?
Thank you in advance.

"Thank you for reaching out to us regarding Contract ID XXXXX. I understand that this project may have been a frustrating experience for you.

Rather than going through the mediation process (which may take up to 30 days), we would like to resolve this dispute by returning Escrow $XXX to your client and then providing a credit to you for the amount you would have earned on this contract. ($XXX after Upwork fees)

This is a one-time courtesy; any future disputes will follow the same dispute process made available to all users. Please note that Upwork tracks disputes on the platform to ensure the quality of our marketplace.

The dispute and contract are now closed. You will receive your credit within 5 business days."

Hi Halim,

Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry to learn about this experience you had. The dispute will enter into Upwork’s Dispute Assistance process where a dispute specialist will assist both parties in reaching a mutual agreement. If the client and freelancer are unable to come to a mutual agreement, the dispute specialist may provide a non-binding recommendation as part of the process.

While our Community Guidelines prevent us from discussing the specifics of an individual case, we are here to answer any questions you have about the process. Feel free to respond to the message from the team if you have questions or need further assistance and our dispute team will surely assist you accordingly.
