The site freezes when trying to send messages to freelancers

I'm trying to send messages to prospective freelancers, but the site freezes. The same happens when I try doing it on my phone. It goes blank without any reason. 

This happens also when I want to invite someone to apply for the job I posted

Sounds very much like a technique issue, I will suggest you try a different search engine for troubleshooting purpose to be sure of where and why...

I was able to, but I no longer can. This is really weird. 
Tried using Chrome, Safari, Edge and mobile app.
Getting the "This page isn't responding" - Wait or Exit page

I think I know what is causing this. Each day as a Client, you can only reach out to 5 people, and when you run out of 5 connects, Upwork kind of freezes rather than saying to you that you have run out of connects for the day.
