Certified Translations

Hello! 

Certified Translations are not legally valid (at least in Spain) unless they bear the translator's original signature and stamp. Therefore, they should be delivered by post. 

So, if I am asked to deliver a certified translation by email I should warn the client that he/she should get the original, which would lead me to ask for a postal address.

Is this frowned upon by the Upwork ToS?

While this is not a ToS violation, please check if you can use other online methods for submitting the original copy to the client.

At the moment we are not allowed to electronically sign Certified translations (maybe in the future the Spanish MAE will develop such system for us, but it is not implemented just yet). 

I was wondering whether other Certified Translators here can give me their impressions about it, or tell me how they manage this situation. 

I do not have a clue. I cannot think of an online method for submitting paper... 🙂
