Why isn't there a minimum rate per word cap?
To many clients propose 0.01$/word or even less. This is ridiculous! An insult to professionals or not.

I simply advise such job posters that my rate is 0.12 per word or $32.00 per hour.

I am happy that you can afford to spend connects just to tell that.

There is no need to be snarky.
Maybe you'd get contacted by better clients and had more luck with better paying jobs if you improved your profile (considerably)
Personally I have come to the conclusion that there is a certain sub-set of so called "translators" who are overpaid at 1 Cent a word.....

Antonio Fernando,
While there is a minimum hourly rate and fixed-price budget requirement on Upwork, we can't reinforce a minimum for rate per word.
Also, please note that you don't use any connects if you reply to an invite and tell the client that their job posting or offer doesn't fit your profile or expectations.
