Please help me find my first job.

Hello everyone 😁

I joined Upwork about a month ago as a Video Editor and Voice-Over artist and have yet to find my first job or client on Upwork.

If there's anybody out there that could help me in this regard, words would not describe how grateful I'd be.

Below are some links to some of the work that I've done:

About your profile, you are missing the first few lines introducing yourself and saying what you do. That can already be seen by the client. Those first lines must attract attention so that the client decides to open your profile.
Talk to the customer, don't talk so much about yourself. What can you do for them?
He left you a couple of posts that will come in handy to know how this works:

This doesn't work like that, you have to send proposals like we all do.
The forum is not for self-promotion or asking for a job.

Hey there:D Thank you for the reply. I thought as much.

I just thought maybe I'd ask as I'm new and unsure how things work.

I've sent proposals etc, but most jobs ask to spend 12 to 16 connects to send a proposal.  And I can't afford to buy more than 80 connects per month, money is SUPER tight for me right now. So things are just really slow going.

Thanks again and wishing you all the best. 😉

Are you buying Freelancer Plus?
If you're doing that, it's cheaper to buy the connects in batches.
With $15 you buy 100.

Hello Maria, hope you're doing well. Yes, I agree with you we should send proposals to get work, bytheway what's your experience purchasing Freelancer Plus? Is it worthy?

I have never purchased Freelancer Plus. What it gives does not interest me.

Yeah, you all right, instead of purchasing Freelancer Plus we could buy Connects. Look, this is what new things are provided now!

Thanks Nadeen, but I already know what Upwork offers. None of it seems too advantageous to me.
