My direct to bank payment method has been deactivated since my upwork account name does not match the name in my bank account---this is because I previously used my nickname when I created this account.
But I have already edited my details to replace my nickname with my full name here in upwork. Any chance you could have my payment method activated already?

Hello,
I've connected my PayPal Account for payments, but then i've got a message saying that the beneficiary name is mismatched, while my name on the payment account
is "**Edited for Community Guidelines**" and that on Upwork is "**Edited for Community Guidelines*", so i need help on this issue as the support team hasn't responded since yesterday.

Hi Sir,
i have changed my payment method and added payment method to my local bank account. but its showing me error, please solve my this problem. See (Screenshot in support ticket)
and whenever i am going to add paypal account its showing me (Your payment method has been deactivated because the beneficiary name on your payment method does not match the name on your Upwork account.)

As I've mentioned in my previous post, in order to be able to connect a payment method the method will need to be issued on your name or your name to be listed as a beneficiary name. You can refer to the guide I've shared as well and explore other available payment methods for your location. Thank you.

My Paypal account name is written in cyrillic and it's approved by the Paypal, so I can't use latin names. At the other side, Upwork does not recognize cyrillic names, so I just can not make account name in Paypal and Upwork equal. What should I do to resolve this issue? Please help!

Hello guys,
My first name contains a specific letter that doesn't exist in the English alphabet (ğ, not g), and when I try to save my bank account information, Upwork doesn't let me use the correct letter. I saved my IBAN but my name is written wrong now. I talked to my bank and they said the money might not be delivered if the name is not written as it is. Any suggestions?

While adding the Bank Information it says that last name should be (2 to 26 letters), but my name is Magesh S. And there is only one letter in the last name and when I submit it, it says incorrect format.

Hi, I was previously based in India and recently moved to Canada. I wanted to update my payment method to my Canadian bank. Greetings! I am experiencing the same issue and this has been my second time that my payment is rejected due to incorrect bank details, however there's no problem with my bank info since I have used it for my other withdrawals as well. Hello,
I am very disappointed on how Upwork rejects my payment transfer for the 3rd time now and keeps on telling me it's due to incorrect bank details. For the third time, there was no error with my bank details and I have contacted my bank multiple times and they said that there's no problem with my card and they haven't received any transactions. This is really disappointing on how Upwork keeps on disabling my withdrawal and took almost 3$ with my money for fees that I can't even refund. I've been waiting for almost two weeks now and it was all failed. I do not wish for any assistance saying that I have to check my card details because there's no error in my side and my payment method is also verified. It's all clear that Upwork is doing something about my funds and keeps on rejecting it to deduct some fees. I need help with my withdrawal and someone who'll fix this asap. This is frustrating.
