Hi!
I signed up earlier today, not knowing that I had signed up already years ago. I experienced issues importing my information from my LinkedIn profile. The upload of the PDF worked but it wouldn't populate the fields. I figured I close the account and can easily sign up for a new one. It says "(my email address) is not recognized for Google Sign-In on Upwork. Please make sure you are using the same account that you have previously linked."
Instead it somehow logged me in with this old account. Is there a chance to reopen the account I created this morning or that I can use my new Email address (that I used for the new account?).

Hi Katja,
Yes, if you closed the new account you should be able to update your email address for this account in Settings > Contact Info. If you experience any issues please click on my picture next to this post and send me a private message with the email address you're trying to use so that I could check.
