Eric,
Welcome to Upwork.
Here is what I see in your profile:
Title: I recommend revising your title to align more with the way Upwork suggests titles be written. The title should be focused on a specific skill area, not include too many words. For example, Software Developer or Software Developer: Driving Business Value.
Overview/Summary: Your summary is well-written and informative. It is very short, but I think it provides enough information for potential clients to understand what you can do to help them. If you want to add anything, maybe you can give examples of software applications you can build; or talk about your method for interacting and communicating with clients during the SDLC; or talk about any successes you've had building apps for other clients/businesses.
Portfolio: Add a portfolio to show samples of your work. The portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression on potential clients. If you don’t have relevant examples to add to your portfolio, you can create items that demonstrate your skills.
Skills: Be sure to include as many relevant skill categories as you can in your skills list. For example, you might want to add Software Development since you speak about it in your title and summary. Adding Software Development to your skills list will help Upwork better match you with relevant jobs, and help your profile appear when clients search for software developers.
Employment History: Add short job descriptions to each job in your employment history. This is especially important when the jobs are highly relevant to the services you provide on Upwork.

Hi,
Please I need an expert to help me review my profile, if there is anything I needed to fix to make me receive invites and hires.
Here is the link to my profile: https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~01c8f32ed00e23bd7b
Thank you so much for your kindness.

Hi Adeoye,
I agree with Samer's message here. Your profile looks fine and there isn't much more you can do to increase the number of invites you receive.
Just keep applying to jobs by writing great cover letters. Always create a custom cover letter based on the client's specific job requirements. Focus on the client's needs and requirements; highlight your qualifications; and briefly explain how you will meet their needs.
Good luck!

Md Shohedul Islam,
It appears that you copied and pasted Andrea's message about profile reviews.
Your profile is set to Private. You must set your profile to Public if you want other freelancers to see it.

Hi Deepa,
Here are some things you need to change to optimize your profile and make it more appealing to clients:
Title: Capitalize "conversion" in your title: Data Entry | Typing | Canva | Excel | File Conversion.
Overview/Summary: Remove the following: "Hi there, Welcome to my Profile." Why? Because only the first two sentences of your summary are shown to clients when they search for freelancers. This means you have very little space to get their attention, and you want to write important words in that small space. You do not want to waste any space with a greeting.
The rest of your summary sounds good.
Portfolio: Add a portfolio to show samples of your work. The portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression on potential clients. If you don’t have relevant examples to add to your portfolio, you can create items that demonstrate your skills.
Employment History: Add short job descriptions to each job in your employment history. This is especially important for jobs that are highly relevant to the services you provide on Upwork.
Everything else looks good. I do not see any huge problems in your profile that would prevent a client from hiring you.
Good luck!

Hello, can you please review my profile and let me know of unprofessional errors?
Sep 30, 2023 11:57:30 AM by Clark S
Hello Meredith,
First, you must be at least 18 years old to use Upwork. If you are 18 years or older, see the information below. If not, you should wait until you reach your 18th birthday before using Upwork. Prior to age 18, using the site is a violation of Upwork's Terms of Service, and will get your account banned.
As a freelancer--not just on Upwork, but in general--most clients and businesses are not looking for freelancers to do odd jobs. Clients have specific needs and look for freelancers who have the skills and expertise to meet their business goals.
Since you are new to Upwork and likely, freelancing, make sure your profile is 100% complete before applying to jobs. The best way to complete your profile is to go through the following Academy Courses and Learning Paths:
As stated above, you should only use these services if you are 18 years or older.
Good luck!

Please review my profile & let me know if there are any recommendations to add to my profile.
Sep 30, 2023 12:22:24 PM by Clark S
MD Shamsul,
There is not enough information in your overview/summary to convince clients to hire you. You have to tell clients about the services you provide and how you can help meet their needs.
Maybe you can focus more on the client’s needs by answering questions a client might ask. For example:
"My company needs new branding. What items can MD Shamsul create?" You could write something like: "I can design logos, banners, posters, t-shirts, website interfaces, and promotional materials like business cards, brochures, and flyers."
"Can MD Shamsul recommend a design for my website and other products?" You could write something like: "I can design and develop website graphics by including your requirements for branding and usability. My high-quality graphic designs will help your web pages stand out and promote your brand to increase sales."
"My company is really busy, so how much time will MD Shamsul spend developing or editing graphics and how often will he stay in contact with me to keep me updated?"
"There are several graphic designers and illustrators out there... why should I choose MD Shamsul?"
Your answers to questions like these can help a client better understand why they should hire you, what they will get, and how it will benefit them.
The other areas of your profile look good, but you need to work on the summary.

Please have a look at my profile and let me know if anyone is willing to give me the best feedback.
Thank you.

Yash,
Remove your name from your profile title. Your title should only say: Chartered Accountant.
Also, remove the greeting "Hi there", your name, and your location from your overview/summary. Clients can only see the first two sentences in your summary when they search for freelancers. You have very little space--only two sentences--to grab their attention, and you do not want to waste any space with a greeting and your name and location. Clients can already see your name and location on your profile.
Add a portfolio to show samples of your work. You should not include proprietary or sensitive data, but clients like visuals, so you may want to add sample balance sheets, cash flow statement, income statement, expense report, etc. The portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression on potential clients.
Be sure to add relevant skill categories to your skills list. You might want to consider categories like Accounting, Chartered Financial Analyst, Quickbooks Online, Bookkeeping, and a few others, as long as they are relevant to your accounting services. It is important to keep your skills list updated with relevant skills categories so that Upwork can match you with relevant jobs, and so your profile will appear when clients search for your skills.
Finally, add short job descriptions to each job in your employment history. This is especially important when the jobs are highly relevant to the services you provide on Upwork.

Hello Muhammad,
I don't see much in your profile that needs improvement. Everything looks fine, and there are not huge problems that would prevent a client from hiring you.
Sep 30, 2023 05:26:49 PM by Samiul I
Hello! My name is Samiul and I'm new on Upwork.
Can anyone please review my profile and tell me if there's any suggestions for me! Thankyou!
Oct 1, 2023 10:01:22 AM by Clark S
Hello Samiul,
Welcome to Upwork.
Good start to your profile. However, there are several important changes you need to make:
1) IMPORTANT: Remove your email address and phone number from your overview/summary. This is a violation of Upwork's Terms of Service, and will get your account banned.
2) Remove the first two lines and emojis from your summary:
":camera_with_flash: Samiul Islam"
"Professional Wedding Photographer & Photo and Video Editing Expert"
Why? Because only the first two sentences of your summary are shown to clients when they search for freelancers. This means you have very little space to get their attention, and you don't want to waste any space repeating your title or repeating your name--clients can already see your name on your profile.
Do the same in your Image Editing specialized profile. Remove: "👋 Hello Upwork Client," from the first line.
3) Add short job descriptions to each job in your employment history. This is especially important when the jobs are highly relevant to the services you provide on Upwork.
Everything else in your profile looks fine.
