I'm a dentist and in February 2023 cleared my part 1 of post graduation, now waiting for my residency. I have just made my account on Upwork. What's the best way to get first contract?

Hi Andrea,

I have just recently joined Upwork on March 29 th. I am still waiting to get my profile approved. Not knowing this , after creating my profile, I immediately applied wand used my coins to boost my profile for clients to see . Not sure how long I have to wait to get everything started. I have lost my coins or not sure what u guys call and lost that job opportunity as well . 
please let me know , how long this process take ? When I will be able to start working on getting my jobs ?

1) Complete your profile and make sure to add portfolios if you have any.

2) Go through the learning paths provided so that you become familiar with how things work.
