Financial transactions for my account have been limited

I am getting the below error.

Financial transactions for your company have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support.

 

I have verified my PayPal access as well as I have added a debit card for more options.

 

I am also not able to hire a freelancer I am getting the below error.

 

"offer creation failed"

Hi Oluwatobi, 

If the action buttons that you usually use are grayed out, the Trust & Safety team may have suspended your account. In that case, you will have received an email about the action on your account. You can reply to the email to find out more about the action we’ve taken.

 

That said, if you need to contact support regarding your financial account, you can:

 

  1. Please visit Contact Support and click the ‘Chat with Upwork' button.
  2. Type a question or topic and select ‘Send’. The bot will find relevant Help articles for you.
  3. The chatbot will ask you to confirm if you need additional help. If you confirm that you need additional help, you will be asked to confirm the account type you need help with.
  4. From there, the support options available to you will be listed. Select either of the options to be able to contact the Upwork Support Team.

I recently created my account and meticulously followed all the required steps. Despite my efforts, my account has been suspended. there are some clarification on the reason behind this suspension? I'm eager to understand and rectify any mistakes I may have made.

I am unable to invite talent to my roles. I am not sure if this is due to the fact that the system will not let me update my billing information or if that is a separate issue.

Despite updating payment information and providing more sources and having 'Balance: $0.00, upwork account is showing as "Financial transactions on your account have been limited due to a failed charge". This has prevented the rehire of contractor. Upwork is also showing the freelancer a message "This feature is not available because your client has been suspended". 'Chatbot' message was Upwork would have sent a message about what needs to be done, but that has not happened. Why has Upwork not sent an email about how to fix this issue Chatbot refers to, but messaging freelancers to state the client has been suspended? Help needed from a moderator (real person, not a chatbot) with this issue!

Hello My account was temporarily suspended and some days later the Financial Transaction was limited without knowing what actually happned and I've been trying to solve this but no repose at all

Please help! My account has been suspended, I don't know how to contact technical support or get some type of more accurate response. At the top of my profile two red banners appear alerting me that there is a problem with the primary billing method. I have already contacted Paypal and the associated cards and they assure me that there are no problems and everything is verified. I do not know what else to do !

It shows this message even though payment has left my account on 2nd September, this still shows and limits my account!

Hi Team,

I have been dealing with the same issue for more than couple of weeks. I use freelancer and client both accounts. In my account it says error 
Financial transactions on your account have been limited due to a failed charge. To resume your account, please update your payment method and pay any outstanding balance.

But I have checked everything there are no pending payments, I also have added multiple cards and accounts, verified with bank and they say all good. I tried through chat bot but it's not helpfull in resolving this issue. I came here today as I wanted to post a job and it doesn't allow me to post a job. I need help urgently please

Hi! Im new to Upwork, i would love to start working on the platform, but im getting this messages after i ser up my billing method.

i've even purchased connects and have them available, but apply button is grayed out.

Hi people i am trying to Withdraw funds from my upwork account but it says " Withdrawal is currently restricted on your account. Please contact Upwork Support." but there is no way to contact upwork's support what do i do in this case?

No matter what I do, Upwork refuses to remove this message, I've tried multiple good credit cards and Paypal. 

I  can't clear this message and I supposed it is the reason I can't "Submit Proposal" to clients:

I added and changed my PayPal account and visa card. But still I have this notification ''Financial transactions for your account have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support.'' on my account. I already tried support, the bot, looking for human help somewhere bt all the automatic alternatives just take me to the steps I already followed.

I am trying to send an offer to freelancer . I attached one payment method . Upwork was showing you have not sufficient funds but actually i have. Then i tried another method. Now I am receiving the transaction notification on my app but upwork does not deduct anything from there and also not processing the offer to next step. 

I genereted the ticket but no one even replying me there.

Luis García's (94705615) financial transactions have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer service.
I’ve already contacted my bank, and their response is that the card is enabled for online payments. How can I resolve this?

Hello there.

 

I'm new here and just completed my profile. However, after set my billing methods I'm getting two error notifications, which are blocking the button Apply Now, so I'm unable to apply for any job:

 

"We found a problem with your primary billing method and to put it on hold. Update it now ." and "Financial transactions for Laura B***** (9******7) have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support"

 

I already checked my e-mail and didn't received any information as the notification said and also set a valid payment method, but didn't solve the problem. 

 

Can you, please, help me?
