Not getting hired

Hello,

I have been on Upwork for a year now with zero hires, and needless to say, I have applied all the tricks and techniques too: coming up with creative proposals each time to cater to a new job, reaching out to jobs with a minimum of 5-10 proposals, bidding with the highest connects and whatnot. Despite my efforts, I have yet to receive a single reply from the clients. 

If any writer/editor with good expereince can check my profile and help me get my first client, that'd be awesome!
