Will my account be blocked if I don't own a company? Creating a Client account as a Freelancer.

Hey there! I have a question to ask. I'm already using Upwork as a freelancer, and now I want to create a client account too. But here's the issue: I've heard that some people had their accounts blocked because they didn't provide company details. Since I'm a freelancer without a company, I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to use my name. Would it be better to come up with a new company name? And just to be sure, will Upwork ask me for company details during the registration process?

Hi Faateh,

You are not required to own a company to hire as a client. You can add your name (e.g., first name and last name's initial in that section, where you are asked to enter a company name.
