Hi, I was working with a client almost 3 to 4 weeks ago, and everything went smoothly. He released the payment and closed the contract and left a 5 Star review on my project. And after a 2 weeks I've received a chargeback notification from Upwork. Which says that I will have to pay back the amount to the client. I already provided all evidence to support and again ready to provide evidence of work and our conversation.
The support simply Says (
Thank you for the information you have sent. We will use the evidence you have provided as well as details and messages from the project’s workroom to build a rebuttal against your client's claim.
The bank makes the final decision and this can take them up to 90 days. Once they’ve made a decision we will reach out.)
Now I can't withdraw my funds and Basically I'm Unemployed right now I'm not able can't withdraw my fundsdue to a fraudulent client. So i simply want to say where is freelancer safety. My balance is $841 now and last upwork demand from me refund atleast allow me rest of payment and hold $150( because 150 dolloers order was problem) and relase after bank decision.
Please assist me if there is anything I can do instead of waiting.
I already open a ticket for withdrawal restricted but support not responding to me
