No new clients! No work!

Hello!
I had six great clients and lots of assignments, then all of a sudden 4 of them ended their contracts saying they were out of money. They gave me great reviews, but I can’t find new clients. I’m sending proposals like crazy, trying all your suggestions.,, any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like pet stores and related pet content is your niche.  Just make sure you are crafting engaging proposals as copywriting is a competitive area (I'm a marketing copywriter).  

I apply to 1-3 jobs a day, receive 1-2 invitations a week (mostly unrelated to what I do), and get about 2 responses to my proposals each week.
