Phone number already in use

My account is attcahed to another account but I cant seem to ifgure out what emai its attached to.

I need some help.

My phone number was associated with an account at a company that I no longer work for (**Edited for Community Guidelines**). I am now working on my own small business (**Edited for Community Guidelines**), and I've not been able to update my phone number on my new account to my proper phone = **Edited for Community Guidelines**. My current and forever login is -**Edited for Community Guidelines**

As an alternative, I've used my daughter's telephone number, so that I can get my job posted... That is not ideal, so I need to update my proper phone number.

Please help me to update my account to my actual telephone number, instead of using my daughter's number.

Hello, 

 

So I have all my info in except the only thing that keeps occuring is the "Phone number already in use. Please, check it and try again. If you're still having problems, please contact support ."

 

I cant get it to send a code or apply to any jobs. I cant even do the Second-Step autorization. Im not sure if its because I previosly made this account in the past and maybe something needs to be updated because the account has been sitting. I tried re entering my phone #, but nothing.

Hey guys.

I have the same issue. The phone was verified on my freelance account, but I couldn't verify it on the client account (says that the phone number is already being used (therefore, I can't create any job openings). 

No way to create a ticket, as the AI chatbot simply sets you to an endless loop of ai generated answers (which is frustrating to another level). Could you please create a support ticket to help me with the issue?

The problem is you all can't resolve the issue unless we still have access to the old email account which most of us don't so this whole process has taken a ton of our time and resulted in nothing being done.  Never experienced anything like this and I'm just trying to hire people!!!

Hi Joanne,

I am having the same problem.  When I apply for a job, I was being asked to enter phone number.  When I entered my phone number, I got the notification of "Phone number already in use. Please, check it and try again. If you're still having problems, please contact support."  I reached out before and did not get a response.  Please help create a ticket so one of your agents can reach out and let me know if this problem can be fixed and assist me.  thanks for your help in advance.

Hi i have the same issue that my phone number is in use. I just tried it again and still not working. I have tried chat support but it seems like it wont lead me to anywhere. Is there anyway we can check on this? I also see a ticket was opened and said it was resolved but its not. Thank you so much.
