Hello,
I'm a top rated freelancer and I verified my identity last month. Now I have got the same request again.
Taking 10 minutes to do it is not a big deal, although I would prefer that Upwork respects my time rather then feeling entitled to waste it on pointless excercises.
I have passed it and it was no different then the previous one.
The bigger issue is that my account is on temporary hold and it lasts longer then 10 minutes. Upwork claims that it has up to 48 hours to release it.
I'm worried about how this is presented to the clients.
The main question is - why do Upwork even does it so often? Do you think that my identity changed within a month?

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me, no, I don´t have an open ticket. I´ve never been able to access the support site, every link, even the one I was sent, redirects me back to my job feed. Nothing seems to work, I can only assume that it´s not on my end as I´ve seen several people with same issue in the past but no solution given, only that they will be contacted through email.
Again, any link that is supposed to take me to a support.upwork website just redirects me back to my job feed.

Thanks for the link, however, it doesn´t work either, any link that is supposed to take me to a support.upwork website redirects me to my job feed, have tried everything from deleting cache and cookies to using another browser and using incognito mode, the support page shows for 1 split second and then I´m redirected back to my job feed.

When I had a video call, I was asked to answer some questions.
The questions were for web developers. Since I am a mobile app developer, I couldn't answer well.
2 days were passed but I didn't still get update regarding my account. My account is still hold.

Here is the proof of my identity verification.
But there is still a notification on my profile about the verification call.
I am also unable to make a verification call or chat with customer service on my ticket.

Today I got this message although my account is already verified:
"Action required: To avoid additional account restrictions, you must complete your identity verification video call with Upwork. You can initiate this call by chatting with an agent here."
And I cannot sumbit any proposals.

I have completed the Account Verification Call on December 2020 and have earned a verification badge as well. But I have received Account Verification Call Notification again on my profile and now my account is currently paused, I am unable to send proposals.

I signed up last night and was asked to provide ID verification, sent everything through, then I went to apply for my first job and was told Upwork could not verify my location, I sent through required documentation again this time on a longer form and thankfully within the hour was verified but I went to apply for another job and AGAIN it said it couldn't verify my ID so I cant apply for jobs- what is this???? I chose Upwork over Fiverr as I thought it would be a better quality experience but this is just outrageous- How can this be fixed, I've sent ALL required information!
